WHAT WAS THE CHALLENGE?

Trade-Up is an industry initiative bringing together the UK’s top independent trade training providers to be the solution to the UK’s critical skills gap in construction. Their goal was to not only upskill a male dominated sector, but to equally appeal to women and older generations. They wanted their brand to reflect this and to work harder than in its current form.

WHAT DID WE DO?

The previous brand identity felt like other brands within the trade circle. Therefore we wanted to make it more relatable and stand out, so that Trade-Up would appeal to all and not just a male target audience. We used the new brand strategy to feed into the refreshed brand look and feel, consisting of a modern and bold logo, colour palette, font and iconography. The new identity was then used to create a new website, social assets and presentation decks.
